Alistair Goodman, Chief Executive Officer

Alistair Goodman has a passion for helping to build successful organizations and brings to 1020 nearly 20 years of experience working in sales, marketing and product development efforts for both media and traditional companies. Most recently, Alistair was Vice President of Strategic Marketing at Exponential Interactive, an online media services and technology company whose flagship brand - the Tribal Fusion ad network - grew to be one of the largest privately-held digital media companies in the US during his time there.

Prior to joining Exponential, he was a founder and Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing at Impli, a San Francisco-based digital media company which was acquired by PRN. Earlier in his career, he worked first on Wall Street and then as a management consultant for both CSC Index and Corven UK Ltd, helping large organizations with process reengineering and the implementation of growth strategies. Alistair holds a BA from Haverford College, an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management and was a Henry Luce scholar in Asia from 1993-94. He is a frequent speaker at online advertising industry conferences, and regularly teaches the basics of online advertising for Paragon Media.

Anne Bezancon, Founder and President

Anne has an impressive track record in executive management and project implementation in communications, computing and the online field.

Prior to founding 1020, Anne was VP of Directory Services at JiWire. Through the relationships she developed with more than 300 service providers worldwide, she built the leading directory of public wi-fi hotspots from scratch. As the founder and former CEO of BEAP, Anne provided custom content management solutions for online publishers. In her role as Executive Producer at Productopia, which during her tenure quadrupled in size, Anne coordinated web strategy, business objectives, content and technology.

Anne also co-founded PCI, a strategic consulting firm that specialized in alliances between the US and Europe, and whose clients included Excite, Swatch, Prodigy, Infogrames and AT&T. In 1994, Anne organized the 40,000-participant Forum of the United Nations Conference on Women in Beijing, China, securing major corporate sponsorship from Apple and Hewlett-Packard. In the late 80s, she also pioneered the Minitel system in France, managing multimillion dollar projects.

Anne holds an LLM and JD from the University of Paris and an MBA from the IEP of Paris, France.

Daniel Parkes, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer

Daniel is responsible for developing the Placecast technology and platform, including core intellectual property and patents around location content management, advertising, allocation and forecasting. Currently, he focuses on the design and deployment of scalable, enterprise-grade applications to meet the growing needs of 1020's customers.

Prior to founding 1020, Daniel was a lead architect at Manhattan Associates, a supply-chain software company with products in logistics, transportation, replenishment and retail planning. He was a key member of the team that developed Manhattan's flagship replenishment, forecasting and inventory management product suite which is now implemented at several Fortune 500 companies worldwide. Daniel has 12 years experience as an executive, software architect and engineer.

Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Psychology from Harvard University and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.

Jeff Montgomery, Chief Revenue Officer

Jeff is responsible for development and execution of sales strategy for 1020's groundbreaking place-based advertising solution. His sales, account management and ad operations teams develop exceptional cross-platform digital marketing campaigns and provide world class client service.

Prior to joining the team at 1020, Jeff founded Sponsormetrix, a digital measurement and activation solution serving the event marketing industry. Previously, he was responsible for developing and managing the global sales organization at Tribal Fusion, a Division of Exponential Interactive. During his tenure, the company grew into one of the largest online advertising networks in the world and earned a strong reputation for performance and customer service.

Jeff has spent the last 12 years in the digital marketing space. He has directed sales and business development organizations executing successful marketing initiatives for companies such as Sony, GlaxoSmithKline, Microsoft, Verizon, ATT, REI, Bank of America and Intel. While serving as the Director of Sales in the Marketer Division at DoubleClick, Jeff's sales and account management teams consistently increased market share across the ad serving, email and marketing automation categories. As the VP of Strategic Partnerships at MyPoints.com, his team scaled membership to 10M and performance marketing revenue to $55M leading to a successful IPO. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University.

Blair Swedeen, Vice President of Market Development

Blair is responsible for 1020's marketing and business development activities with ISPs, web publishers, mobile application providers and other distribution partners.

Prior to joining 1020, Blair founded Partenza Consulting, a strategy and business development consultancy advising leading players and investors in the Location-Based Services (LBS) industry. Previously, he had overall responsibility for the Internet/Wireless product line at NAVTEQ, the leading digital map content company, and launched the company's mobile content product line. Before joining NAVTEQ, Blair was a Director and Quantitative Analyst at UBS Global Asset Management where he owned development and operations for the firm's global equity valuation platform.

Blair has more than nine years of experience across product strategy, product management and business development in LBS, digital content, applications and analytics. He is a regularly featured speaker and columnist who also serves on the advisory board for the Silicon Valley Association of Startup Entrepreneurs (SVASE).

Blair holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business.

Todd Touesnard, Vice President of Product Management

Since joining 1020 in July of 2006, Todd has played a pivotal role in building the Placecast platform. As VP of Product Management, Todd leads a growing product team and drives the design and execution of 1020’s technical product strategy.

Todd has more than twelve years of experience in technology, product design, solution implementation and consulting. Prior to 1020, Todd was Director of Technology at Manhattan Associates, a global software company specializing in supply-chain optimization. At Manhattan, Todd grew and led the technical services team in focusing on implementing replenishment, inventory management, forecasting, and merchandise planning solutions in North America and Europe. Todd previously held management roles at Evant (now MANH), iMediation (now GXS) and Oracle.

Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bishops University and an Applied IT degree from the Information Technology Institute in Canada.

Jessica Jurva, Senior Director, Program Strategy & Operations

Jessica is responsible for driving 1020's account services, including pre-sales and customer implementation in support of the company's ShopAlerts programs. Jessica joined 1020 soon after inception, and was instrumental in leading sales efforts in the nascent location-based advertising market during the company's early years, and establishing key relationships.

Jessica has over thirteen years of experience across the mobile marketing, wireless, and interactive media markets. Prior to joining 1020, Jessica had already teamed up with Founder Anne Bezancon at JiWire, developing strategic relationships with wireless service providers. Previously, Jessica consulted with several Bay Area start-ups focusing on lead generation programs and digital advertising. She also held management roles at Palm and Intuit, building and driving the launch and adoption of both companies' Developer Networks.

Jessica holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Notre Dame de Namur University.
